Slow food movement in the area of Wendland


We created a food workshop concept for the art and culture festival Kulturelle Landpartie in 2016. Our colorful installation “Buntes vom Feld” was taking part in cooperation with Grüne Werkstatt Wendland. Our guests work themselves through the process of a raw product to the final dish in different stations. Starting with washing and grating the veggies, mixing the dressing and preparing their individual salad. The concept is questioning our fast and convenient way of consumption. By spending the time with the product through different stages our relationship is changing. Furthermore the actual time that we need to produce a dish is experienced by the participant and thereby the appreciation for it rises. A production of slow food.
